Training with pass protection

Ok guys do you think its worth an extra £250 for pass protection ie upto three tests and hire of truck.

Read the small print. If it is literally as you have said, then probably “yes”. A typical retest is between £250 and £400 so clearly it’s a bargain. But it may well be tied into you buying “x” amount of training to go with each retest.

And, of course, why assume you’ll need a retest?

If it is a broker then NO stay clear of them

No its not a broker its my local and no no small print

Email the provider and ask if the protection is all inclusive - that way you get the answer in writing

Ive got that too ROG

If it states all inclusive then that’s what it legally is

One thought - do you get to drive it to the test area or do you meet them there ?

If you get to drive then ok if not then you will be doing a retest cold

No from their depot ROG about 10 miles from test center

Driving 10 miles for retest is enough for a warm up - would like one reverse as well

It’s a bargain then.

May be an idea to check if there are any clauses about the number of “serious” faults. I have known cases where the pass protection only works where the fail has been on only one serious fault.

£250 for 3 tests is really good. As I said previously, it’s worth around £900.

I thought so so its all in for £ 1575
