Hi all my son is looking to gain his hgv he is 19 and itching to get his licences. have seen the usual brokers to which I have told him to steer clear of…I gained mine at chevron in flint, north wales but unfortunately I don’t believe they do a pay later type of package. If anyone could please advise on any training providers localish to Chester that offer some sort of pay later package.

I’d still go with chevron. I got my license with them.
Maybe go for the assessment and see how much time he will need.
After some discussion with the lady wife , we decided it was easier to bang the course on a 0% interest credit card and pay it back over 12 months.
I can’t really see any company doing a train now buy later type system, maybe a deposit then you pay the rest up till the week of your training,

Thanks all I will pass the info onto my son he is currently only doing agency work so I think it’s going to be save save save then go and see how he gets on he is revising his theory to get that out of the way I will post how he gets on
