Training question?

hi all ,ive done and passed cat c , ive done my initial cpc test all modules and passed , im now waiting for my digi tacho to arrive hopefully this week as its been 2 weeks wait , i was just wondering as im a newbie and with no experience at
all , how do us newbies learn how to load goods down properly on firts time jobs etc , or how about if i got a job on for example tippers or skips etc do companys actually go out there way first thing in the morning and teach you before you go out driving for the shift ?

whilst on this subject is there any one knowing of any good hiab courses in north west area (cheshire /merseyside)?

cheers mike

Well Done on your passes.

Some companies go out their way to help if you are up front and tell them it’s your first time.

A good point to remember is… You can never use too many restraints.

There are some DCPC courses that are specifically aimed at Load Security. Ask your local CPC provider if they do it and get yourself your first 7 hours towards your next card.

thanks mate , just would hate to turn up to a job on first day even if it is agency and look like a complete utter clown.
i really want to do tipper work and want to learn how to operate them before i start (if the opportunity arises )

If in any doubt ask if another driver is about & never be afraid to ask that question
