Training Fee Recovery

There was a thread about employers recovering training costs from employees (and the legality) if they left the company within a predetermined period of time. Has anyone saved a link for this subject?
One question, should there be a time frame involved where any outstanding fee would become null and void if it was not recovered?

It all depends on what the training agreement was when it was signed ,and how much the Employer is prepared to write off and put down to a lesson learned
I would imagine if the agreement was broken and if the amount of money the Employer thinks should be refunded is significant, it could go via the Courts, which could mean time is irrelevant.

Safeways used to have a rather neat scheme, where the wannabe drivers had to borrow the money themselves but Safeways paid all the payments. If they left too soon, Safeway just stopped paying.

Thanks for the link and comments.
