GOOD LUCK FOR TMRW MATE
spd0121:
To be fair, I had not told Roger that i was working
His answer, “What on earth were you thinking? Of course you need to rest!”
I’m not surprised he said that - probably bellowed it at you
spd0121:
(did not want to put my problems on his shoulders etc. etc.)
What do you think your instructor is there for
- to give you the best opportunities to pass the test - your problems are OUR problems - even a little tiff with you nearest & dearest can affect your driving - we don.t need to know the details but we do need to know you had one as it could affect your state of mind.
Others could be lack of sleep, child in hospital, too much booze the night before, baliffs at the door etc etc
A good instructor will probably notice that your mind is not on the task and ask the trainee about it.
Again, we don’t need details of a problem but we do need to know that there is one.
Good Luck Today
Nick.
Good Luck!

Very inspirational.

If you get a test in Norwich, make sure it’s outside term time, or not during school rush times. The scrummy crowd are the crazies in that part of Norwich.
I have seen them pull stunts Bond would have second thoughts over, like doing the chicane thing between a JCB and a reversing 18tonne tipper, both moving across the road with every flashing light going…
Most other drivers are only normally bad,but school run time brings out the nutters.
Good luck mate.
As he has the 230 test today… eek
He’ll be done in half an hour, if his examiner times it right, he may dodge the worst areas before the school crazies rush the area, once he’s past the infamous fiveways, it’s not too bad.
YEESSSSSSS!! WOOHOOO!! YAAAAY! WAHAY! GET IN THERE!!!
Oh yeah; by the way; I passed!
Stupid grin firmly inplace - in fact my cheeks ache!
You’re just a little bit happy then…
Cracking read, most excellent thread.
Well done and enjoy your weekend.

Just a tad!! Does it show?
To cap it all off Mr. Chief examiner said it was an "almost perfect drive!
If I had not met Plod coming around a sharp left hander and not had to move over slightly for him; thereby lightly brushing the kerb, He said that he would have given me a ‘clean sheet’. Only the second he would have ever given in 12 years! He noted that; if my speed had been very slightly slower, It would not have happened, so gave me 1 minor for speed control.
Totally different experience to last week, even tho’ it was the same guy. This time we chatted the whole way round about everything under the sun. Felt totally relaxed and ‘switched on’.
So; yesterday, I cudn’t evun spel ‘Lory driva’; Today I is one!!!
YES!!..
Cheers mate!
