Hi,
I would like to know everyones thoughts on the trainers within a reasonable drive from Rotherham.
I have my provisional and would like to start lessons but with so many providers around it is difficult to know who to go with.
I would also like to know everyones thoughts on whether you should train manual, semi, or fully automatic

I took my class 2 in a manual and class 1 in a auto. Peter smythe from Mansfield is good I know a few who have passed with them. You’ll get a choice of box there. They sponsor this forum if you look mate. Good luck.
I’ve sent a pm with some more detailed information. Before you decide, go and visit the prospective trainers. Look at the facilities (reversing area is vital), the state of the vehicles, ask about instructor qualifications and get proof.
There are no other DVSA Accredited Centres except us between Luton and Carlisle. Maybe this should be worth bearing in mind.
For us, anyone is welcome to come (without appointment) between 0730 and 1800 Monday - Friday for a chat, a look around the training centre and at least have a sit in some different trucks.
We have a customer service team who are dedicated to supporting candidates from the first visit or call all the way through to the test pass.
Not all training is the same. And cheapest is rarely best.

Hi I did mine with Tal Training in Sheffield. They are based right next to the test centre so as soon as you go on the roads etc you are straight on the routes the exams. You could also try Mel at Pawson transport they do packages now for training I also think they do an option now to put you through for free for a minimum amount of service.
