Due to an increase in business we are currently looking to recruit 2 Trainee Drivers.
Working alongside a fully qualified and experienced LGV driver, you will first learn the role of Driver’s Mate, assisting the driver in the safe and efficient transportation of fragile and abnormally wide loads in and around the UK. Once fully proficient, you will have the opportunity to train for the LGV Driver’s licence. Training will be fully supported by the Company.
To be an LGV driver you should
· Enjoy driving
· Have excellent practical driving skills
· Have a good understanding of safety both on the road and when loading and unloading
· Be able to complete paperwork accurately and legibly
· Have good verbal communication skills.
· Have the ability to read maps.
You are required to hold a current full Ordinary driving licence and have a good driving record.

Looks like a good opportunity for a couple of people there. I wonder if the pay is much above NMW. I guess you would probably be locked into a time serve contract with repayment of training if you leave early. But still a good opportunity.
