I hope these blokes are on more than £14.00 p.h?
Can’t understand why they take these by road and not on the tracks where they belong 
These are 2 replacement carriages, to replace 2 taken for repair.
There’s a railway line on the left at 0m45 and again at 1m45
and to me a waste of a police vehicle on ■■■■■■ duty.
I know these abnormal load hauliers know their stuff,
but don’t they pre-plan the routes, dates and times, before it goes,
can’t believe the amount of parked vehicle on route.

Its cheaper to go by road then pay to run a long different lines/routes.
They have the Police because its planned, I only ever do stuff big enough for one normal ■■■■■■ van, you tell the authorities a few days in advance how big/heavy you are, what times you will be on the road etc. They send you a route and you have a chance to change parts of it if possible and submitting changes.
The big risk is, you can plan the world, tell everyone about it, you will have people park cars where they shouldn’t that’s a given.
The usual reason is that the line through Barmouth continues to a dead end at Pwllheli and I seem to remember a sudden closure of the Mawddach viaduct meaning that trains were trapped between Barmouth and Pwllheli, or there were none there when it was closed and they needed one to keep the Barmouth to Pwllheli section running. That line also suffers from flood / landslip / storm damage so that might have been the reason too.
