My daughter has just come back from a week in Paris with the school and they went via the tunnel, now we’ve been on numerous ferries over the years and she didnt like the train one bit. We’ve always done the ferry cos there’s more to see and do but what do you boys n gals who go over the water think ?
Always depends on whether I am tight on time or not. If I am pushed, then the train is quicker if not 100% boring and always infested with tall story tellers, if I have time on my side and in no rush, the boat it is.
Kind of depends on my mood on the day and the schedule to keep.

It is somewhere to sit for 49 minutes and drink crap expensive tea or coffee, but it is quick, no screaming teenagers and if you sit back to back with a couple of nedexco drivers it puts a smile on your face for the day.
On the downside, there are no showers and with 50 plus blokes rushing to use 3 (If working) toilets after you leave the station
In a car or bike, the problem is you have nowhere to go apart from sitting in your own seat.

It all depends on whether i want to eat or not prefer the boats for breakfast
Depends if I’m in a rush or not, plenty of time to spare then the ferry wins (unless its seafrance, would do train everytime before seafrance!)
