Trailer tyre fell apart

Don’t think that remoulds are really that cost effective. My Premium done 290k on its original Continental drive axle tyres. They were then replaced by a set of remoulds which all needed changing at 390k. The proper tyres lasted almost 3 times longer than the remoulds. By my reckoning, you must be paying more in the long run for remoulds.

We use Bandvulc and similar retreads on our trucks, and we’ve had anything from
Blowouts to missing treads, they just peel right off sometimes, even on newly
fitted ones.

The reason we use them and not premium brands is because we do a lot of site work and tyres can get wrecked in a short period of time, it’s cheaper basically.
