It’s how you get rid of your rubbish trailers, quite normal.

well u park in a puddle, and ignore the ignorant fools

You could always give them the trailer back the next night and park it so they have to get in a puddle…just saying!

exactly what most of us would have been doing already

i used to run from west bromwich to gretna nearly every day to do a swap with the the our glasgow depot…used to take me 4hrs+ daytime and used to struggle if there was a rta on the way,i reapeatedly told our traffic office that i was struggling most days and would it be possible for them to meet me halfway as it really supposed to should be (tebay)…they told me the glasgow lads are a right bunch off militant fekers and they will only go down as far gretna…so every day i was late and the and the looks i would off there drivers doing the swap.the trailers they bought down had tyre defects bulbs missing etc and they would drop the trailer in the most akward off places!..i got there late the one day and the old lad started fuming saying he had been waiting here ant least 25mins and he had a union meeting to go to…so he parked on a bit of a slope and didnt drop his trailer saying to his manager on the phone if that brummie [zb] doesnt turn up in 1/2hr he was bringing the trailer back…he gets out of his cab and pulled the pin on the 5thwheel(before applying the trailerbrake and winding down the legs)…and the trailer slid off the 5th wheel and dropped and travelled about 20ft backwards(redairline still attached).until all suzies all snapped and the tractor unit lights all popped off!!!another 5ft and it was going in to the field beghind…all drivers parked up on services watched with amazment at this circus and even i had to smile…but then the glasgow driver blamed me for what happened because i was late.i run back solo that day due to the legs on trailer totally bent and unable to wind upp…glasgow driver missed his union meeting and had to have his vehicle recovered that day…happy days!

When you learn to use full stops and commas in your posts, the Glasgow men might think about parking your trailer in a wee dry spot for you so you don’t get your tootsies all wet.

Can they make it all the way from Glasgow to Penrith  We used to have the same trailer games on nights at safeway. Our lot (Welwyn) would always send a crappy old transamerican renter up to Tamworth. We hated pulling them up the road as we’d have to tip a job on the way. Right pain those jobs

West Brom to Gretna 4hrs+ most days!!,what u doing, pushing it!,try putting in top gear

Just wondering, where do all the good trailers go? Do they ever come back? Is there a sinister trailer exporting ring sending to the Shetlands or the Faroes maybe?

The plot thickens…
