No load spill, doesn’t look like there’s much of a diesel spill, the report says that there were no injuries to the driver, no other vehicles involved, no fatalities :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

paid by the hour …gotta have your tea breaks too mind

Glad he was ok though whatever country he might have come from, so what do we reckon happened ? I say he swerved to avoid a herd of Wildebeest.

He was hoping to get his 9hrs in so when they picked him up he could crack on…■■■■ recovery people!!!

How the hell do you lay a truck down on nearly enough a straight road… :open_mouth:

True, nobody injured. Looks like he has had a bash at the barrier could have easily been a blow out.

Cant see how its ended up there, but as always no pic shows what happened least the driver was unhurt.

But as said 8 hours? Tad excessive no obvious damage to anything mind you the herds of zebra do have a habit of running out in front of you down there lol

I went past about 4pm and they had put cones in front of the damaged barriers, putting cones out ain’t no short job!

Maybe come round that top corner a bit to fast and tryed to correct him self or maybe a family of ducks :open_mouth:

Oh no - another Stobrats professional for the black museum…

“The driver is now coming up to a very challenging section of road with a slight bend in it and whoaaa… clunk, grind, rattle - oh no sheet, his photogenic side is scraping the gravel and his ego is dented beyond all repair”.

:grimacing: Double the fun… :sunglasses:

Look at the company name on the tractor unit. There is your answer.

Lots of reasons.

I reckon a bunch of afghan immigrants were all banging on one side of the trailer, causing the trailer to tip over.

Sadly not the first driver to come unstuck in that stretch . How they do it is a complete mystery to me , a busy stretch at times , you would be lucky to get near the 50 mph limit . So I’m told by a good friend and one of his colleagues working out of the sca depot less than half mile from there , he was a Romanian agency driver on route to Manchester . He had taken a wrong turn out of there yard and had to double back at the stoke road junction. Reference the 8 hr closure , stoke council and highways mixed with a little bit of the Mansfield group creaming off extortionate hourly rates does not make for an efficient clean up team .
