At around 11.10am on Friday, October 3, officers attended the scene where a lorry had swerved into a grassed area at the A195 roundabout with Pattinson Road.
The driver of the lorry was found unconscious after possibly falling ill at the wheel.
Paramedics attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name is Jeff, lovely pleasant lad, I worked alongside him daily taking loads from Bellsill to Auchinleck.
I was shocked when I heard the news yesterday.
Sadly missed,
