Thoughts go out to all his family and friends,
R.I.P
Sad news for all involved, dangerous things bikes, mainly because car drivers dont see them, I nearly T-boned a few numptys that pulled out on me at junctions, makes your arse go, I dont ride anymore, Best place for bikes are on tracks, the amount of bikes that drive around with there full beams on is amazing, sod everyone else.
RIP. To be fair though a lot of motorcyclists do ride like nutters, i’m not saying that was the case here but some of them you see and think they do have a life expectancy of like half an hour.

It is new law that requires all modern motorcycles to ride with dipped light during the day, however car drivers still don’t see them
I spoke to a driver that was ■■■■■■■ in the tailback ,there were reports of a bike doing 100 mph .As its an agricultural area there is a lot of mud on the roads .
Thoughts with the family

Don’t believe everything you hear, I got pulled years ago for ‘speeding in a 30’ which I never do, it was just someone’s perception and the fact I was in a slightly lower gear than I’d normally be in, so revving higher etc.
Other times people shout slow down and I check my speedo to find I’m within the limit and they’re just muppets.
Thoughts with the family, I’m currently an ex-biker due to scrotes keep trying to nick mine so I flogged it before it went walkies.
RIP. One of my favourite fleets, ususally spotless too although am i right in thinking it is/was a majority of owner drivers? Remember he was up in front of the TC about 7 years ago and the company ended up losing a few vehicles, but certainly cleaned up his act and built the company back up into a fine fleet.
sad news, 5 miles along the road from where i stay. it appears that he was a very generous man giving lots to his local community, and he loved spending his days on his bike.
it appeared the car was waiting to turn into the junction, and he went into the back or side of the car. However thats just what i seen, although the back of the car wasnt damaged.
The police at this scene were attrocious, they only put 1 sign out saying diversion, we got to a mile outside where the accident was and one policeman, no car or sign told us to turn around, so there were about 20 lorries doing a u turn and going up the smallest road in the area. they shouldve diverted traffic at glamis or forfar. the majority of lorries wouldnt have got stuck, as it was still congested hours after accident.
we took another backroad and thought it would get us back home quicker, not one sign or anything told us and we turned the corner and seen more than we wanted to
it was at a junction, the police shouldve had someone standing, east, west and south of the junction.
local radio said diversions were in place, when we left later that day the road was still shut and very few diversion signs in place.
im sorry to take away from this sad story, but it wasnt nice for my passengers to see what they saw, nor for the people involved for us to come so close. but its not the first time there has been a serious accident and there are dozens of police standing at one diversion and the rest of the roads are a free for all.
I shall always think of motorbikes when I see a David Murray motor. A great shame
A great guy. Will be sorely missed. Thoughts to all his family.
