I’ve been trying to get on this for years but never seem to be any vacancies in my area…yes, I do know where the local depots are.
Where you based mate

OK, I’ll be the first one…
Role play? Don’t let dipper heare about that. How many stages do you need before you are qualified to stand on the hard shoulder with your hands tucked into your vest, just like a real policeman?
Lol think it 5 stages pal

a haulage company in Swindon pays that for around 10 hrs[class 1]I asked about overtime,if you could do 2 hrs extra every night that would make it around 26 to 28000 per year, their reply was yeah plenty of o/t if you want to work Saturdays, exit one prospective employee
£21,292-£22,413 plus 20% shift allowance, that’s what it says on a Traffic Officer vacancy on their website.
How have you not known that before applying & going through 3 stages when its at top of the advert.

Including shift allowance, take home is about 1700 a month, people take the pee, but it’s a reasonable pay packet for not a lot of work, granted there are days where you’re chasing your tail, but not everyday is like that. There is a national roster team that can’t roster nationally! So there is regular overtime if you can get in before the graspers! OT is paid at time and a half (for now - traffic officers are the only ones in HE who get it!) so that works out roughly £20 an hour. 8 hour shifts in a nice motor, 6 on 3 off - haters gonna hate!
Thanks boss hogg like you say always some haters and to daj911 does it mention overtime rates !!! Maybe maybe you should stick to small words like truck lorry flask paper the sun etc lol

Don’t chase the job for pay; chase it for satisfaction… easy to say, I know. But 8 hrs sitting in a comfy motor 6/3 with not a huge amount of work…would drive me nuts. Others would love it. So make sure its right for you.
