What an absolutely useless website it really is. I don’t know what brainless potato runs it but very rarely does it give accurate info. Go on disruption search and it will have exits closed that are open on the M6 when you get to them, or no planned closures and find the whole world has been closed off.
All last week the matrix on the M62 have been lit up with multiple junction closures for every day this week (as bloody usual on the 62) and not ONE of them are advertised on Traffic England. Unfortunately I have to use the M62 every night and know most of the ways around but how are people who don’t regularly use it supposed pre-plan if they cant get accurate info ffs.
What traffic websites are up to date with planned closures these days that aren’t run by complete muppets?

I think the problem is that the Traffic England website is up to date with planned closures - But the issue is that not all planned closures (which, for non-emergency works, have to be authorised in advance) are actually put in place according to the plan! e.g. The overnight closure of certain slip-roads may well be authorised for a period of a week or more, but the engineers on the ground might only need to implement them on a few of those nights.
