Not sure what they are like to work for, but the company i work for send a truck down to their place in Bradford every night. We bring all their central Scotland deliveries back up and deliver them. They seem well organised and they also seem to have alot of decent work too. But thats just my opinion of them. As i said, don’t know what they would be like to work for though.
They are quite a big depot with Palletline. I know a couple of their drivers who seem happy enough. The kit always looks OK and they appear well organised.

I think that their top man is (was) Bob Rushworth , who used to be top man at Wilson and Haigh.
Didn’t take any messing about then but decent enough to work for.
Three mates went there , 2 stayed and 1 left to go back on agency.
I work there as a driver, dont be fooled by the image, new yard, newish motors everything looks professional. Behind the scenes is a different matter, its a shambles, badly run, messed about, traffic manager is a [zb], keep losing work to george walkers, they are making naff all, just waiting for the bubble to burst, got mcfarlanes written all over it. If you have a permanent job, dont leave to come here.

Doesn’t sound any different to the way most other companies are run.
yeah but these won an award, haulier of the year 1997!! Problem here is too many office/admin staff all brown nosing, the owners/directors dont have a clue whats going on, sat in there ivory towers!

Well I never heard anything back anyway, to be honest to bloody corporate for my liking. Its now academic as I start as a Logistics Administrator for a small furniture firm in Dewsbury on Monday.
