I started driving artics at 18, there was no such thing as the young driver’s scheme then so when I got caught and banned it put the kybosh on me getting my HGV provisional when I reached 21.

I had to go and see the TC on Kensington at the old Metropolitan Traffic Area hq and plead my case.

Walked out of there with a provisional :sunglasses:

Lucky really as I had a loaded artic parked up the road with a load for Park Royal :laughing:

Another small update after me finally getting my LGV provisional granted in January

I have now passed both tests first time, Class C - 1 Minor

and C+E 1 Minor

Happy it is all done after all the delays :smiley:
