Has anyone got any current prices for hiring a tractor unit on a 1-2 year deal. Apart from the obvious cost are there any hidden fine print that I need to look out for. I also need 2 units with pto gear on. Is this likely to be a problem?

if your close to hull, try truck and trailer services, £350 a week, just insure it and fill the tank , price includes pto and they are kept absolutely tip top , my mates got 5 off them never looked back, speak to shaun or ian, very decent lads to deal with,theyve done work on my wagon 100% recommend

Was that full contract hire and not just operating lease?

Ok I’ll get shot down if I’m wrong, 
full contract hire includes things like servicing, safety inspections and annual tests and maybe tyres. Basically all you do is insure it, put fuel in it and hopefully have enough work for it to pay the monthly hire fees and have a bit left over.
Operating lease is just hire of the truck, not sure if it also includes road tax.

It’s Contract Hire, but on their website they say it’s an operating lease.
