Well by now I should be sitting in Reims on my way to Imola, but truck started playing up big time before I even got to the tunnel. Its in the workshop and they’re trying to find the problem, but its oil pressure related so might be terminal or at least not repairable in a morning, so I can see us needing to hire a tractor unit tomorrow.
I’m going to phone round in the morning, but any ideas and advice, prices for 8 days hire, would be useful. Ideally I’d like to find something with an 1100 to 1150mm fifth wheel height, but we can get away with a standard height.
