Trucks are based on site at Toyota if we’re talking for Transfreight they have been for a few years now N R Evans have there old yard at Hilton . Regards Toyota work it’s not bad work done a few stints in there on agency for Transfreight collecting components for production as others have said get your clerical skills in check as u have to check the load manifest against the paperwork at each supplier best thing is to get a stamp as that makes life easier ! Also there keen on your load restrained properly with ratchet straps though they were trialing in trailer system last time I was in there 2 years ago on agency . Works well organised and it’s all just in time organised logistics to get the load into the factory for production most of runs are usually 10-12 hours depending what routes u are on and distance and collections which can multiple collections plus it’s a 24 hour operation so your start times can vary and as Stanley Mitchell has said its not job to get involved in if u don’t want graft as some runs can be a good shifts work !
