I went over it in the 80s (the days before cameras)
I bet you looked great with your mullet!
Yeh really cool, the Magnum tache was a great combo.
Lumberjack shirt, Rubber Duck style body warmer, Levi 401s with US trucker belt, and Cowboy boots to complete the 80s 'Trucker Chique,
Thought I looked really cool but on reflection looked a complete 2at
P.S. Did anything before Levi 501โs ever existโ โ ?

In my younger days there was a tiny, dirty little 20 ton sign on Tower Bridge road. I was on the way up with a Leyland with the muffler across the front and about 20 ton of steel wire. A young copper walking (yes in those days they did) towards me when the muffler blew out. It must have sounded like he was being strafed by a [zb] Spitfire. I thought, oh [zb] and kept going as though nothing had happened and when I clocked the nearside mirror, he was just standing there looking at me disappearing over the bridge.
I went over it in the 80s (the days before cameras) there was a copper that day also (maybe same copperโฆmaybe same day ) I just shrugged my shoulders at him trying to look lost, he just nodded at me. You could do things like that then.
My โ โ โ โ up was in the 60โs you young whippersnapper. Looks like theyโve lowered the weight over the years. Wish I could do the same.
The 60s
I was at school then.
I was on about Trucker fashion in the 80s before. It will have been bib & brace, cloth cap, and clogs the 60s lorry driver wore then was it, and an Army greatcoat for winter.
Youโve just reminded me of the day I was wearing a donkey jacket in an AEC Mandator. Freezing cold and no heater, we were 'ard in those days. Jumped out and the handbrake lever went up the back of my jacket which was buttoned up. Paddy lifted me off cos I couldnโt undo the buttons. Oh how everyone laughed, except me, that handbrake bloody near ripped me spine apart. What a berk I must have looked.
