As the tour i’m on has a few days off, i’ve been doing a few odd-jobs to fill in with.
Here we are, taking a load of stage steelwork from the V Festival at Weston Park, down to Purfleet, where the trailer
will go unaccompanied to Belgium.

Found this one that i’d overlooked on my camera-phone.
Also taken at Sonnemondestern Festival, along with one a couple of posts earlier.

Here’s a couple of the smaller (but just as busy) trucks from the fleet. IIRC, both were at the Big Chill Festival a few weeks back.

god damnit so i spend 10 days at the big chill and spot none of you

pffft

Hi jacko22 the man who drive the new XF105 is the same who drove the old DAF XF - W2 RTL.

I don´t know if you can see here.

One question about Rob and his Scania and Stage Truck Scania´s. He was driving for Atkinson & Sanders in the past? And that truck was from that company? I have seen a picture of this Scania in internet in Atkinson & Sanders blue the same like Stage Truck Scania. Anybody could explain to me what happended with this company.

The last time that I saw their trucks was in 2005 during a Mark Knopfler tour. And Rob was there. In the last year tour I saw Transam Trucking vehicles.

The name of the driver is Davey Forbes who use to work for Fieldings many years ago then jumped over to Redburn’s. as to the company of Atkinson and Saunders, sadly Shoe Saunders died and the company was no more. James Atkinson had left the company a few years before and very sadly he died and I lost a wonderful friend. Hope that helps.
