Well folks, for those of you who haven’t heard, i’ve parted company with Stardes, and am now with Fly By Nite. Although some of you know the reasoning behind
my move, i’m not going to go into it on here.
So, after getting out of my new DAF, i’ve got into a not quite so new one, though to be fair, its been well looked after, and i’m more than happy with it.
Here she is, just prior to loading-in at Oberhausen Arena.
And heres Ronald’s truck, also at the same venue.

i dont think youll notice it too much tbh, tour trucks are never maxed out on weight anyway. most of transams fleet are only 410hp and thy still have some go about them.
Has anybody noticed the new Deben units that are lowriders? They have started buying trucks specced to run on both containers and touring; I saw an FH this week, they look quite strange pulling containers tho’!
Hey Rich, you can have as much horsepower as you want… but none of them are of any use if you’ve got no work to use them on!
Sorry to hear about Brad. Did’nt know him well, but it certainly came as a shock. I’d heard a couple of weeks ago that he was’nt well, but can’t believe how quickly
its all happened.

I only toured with brad once but he was a true gent and will be a real loss to the industry. i suppose one small comfort is that it was quick and he didnt struggle with prolonged pain.
RIP Brad you will be missed.

Visited FBN depot today hoping to get some photos. Loads of trucks in but was denied access. I had been informed by a ex-driver that the managing director was a misserable Beep
