No problem mate with euro3, it was 2008. It was a big tour driving wise, i cant remember how many countries i took in, i think it was around 15 or so.
One truck 10 week tour. A bit lonely or are the rest of the crew quite socialable?
I presume you are all euro4 now

i dont know if the old ones (like my old one in the pic)have been sorted for either euro 4 or 5, but most of the motors are 105xf’s so are euro5.
The band and the crew after the last gig in Portugal (and me and the bus driver)
Hello all. Just wondered if, given Beat the Streets unfortunate incident allegedly concerning one of their tour buses, some (allegedly) dodgy substances and a certain teenage singer in Sweden this week, would that have a knock on effect for the tour trucks? Could the drivers expect a turn out border to border? Would the whole set get a going over?
Somehow I cant believe that, given the nature of R&R, it would be the first time that such a thing may have happened!!
Tour busses are regularly searched, the fact that it was a certain guy is the only reason it’s been reported
I used to get searched every time coming back over
any seasoned tour driver knows well enough that if you carry “contraband” in the truck, that you put the tour at risk, you put your co workers at risk, you put your truck co on the “search” list, if you do “stuff”, then the rewards are well known,
law enforcement love the publicity, what better than high profile “stars” etc, hey… i’m not moralising…!,
just sayin’, !!!..
