And i was one of them and it was home for me when i worked for Norman Lewis.

I,m sure got a sticker from there that my dad got for the kids , and he always got beer from there on his way home 8 cases of Primus if i,m right. Would this be the same place, I,ll have a look the kids have still got the toy box and try and put a pic or two on this thread

When i saw your name i had a horroble feeling you were the nerd from Stobarts then i saw you worked for Lewis theres no way that little boy could handle real tramping. PHEW

My dad worked for BET on tanks and before that he worked for the Paddy,s out of S. Irlande pulling fridges all over EUROPE, from the early 70,s to 90s when he had a heart attack. He drove off the boat and into Dover Hosp and walked ■■ into A & E and did it there , something to do with 60 + ■■■■ a day they said

I am alright mate, been a few beers gone under the bridge since those days. There are a lot of those old men still at Lewis’s, even in the workshop. I called in about 3 or 4 years ago. Geoff Sharpy was still self appointed yard manager and in charge of the Phenol.

Baz was in a suit. Tricky was still taking the ■■■■ :wink:
