I`m sure…Very sure, I will not be commenting on wimmen and horses and other stuff.

all those signs are very irritating to me,including “little princess on board” and “powered by fairy dust” ectect.
i find the best way to remove such irritation is to keep driving closer and closer to their back bumper till the signs disappear beneath the windscreen.

The powered by fairy dust one…

Inevitably on a 20 year old battered Micra being driven by a munter…

Is the idea…

That we’ll make an extra effort when swerving to avoid disaster when we see the sign as opposed to, an ordinary ‘no extra effort’ swerve?

I think the idea came from stories of accidents when a kid was lying in a field somewhere after a serious accident, after being thrown from a car. No-one knew the kid was originally in the car, so no-one looked. Dunno how much truth in those stories? But it caught the imagination.
Pretty sure the emergency services do a sweep whatever, and no-one takes out the signs when the kid gets out, but, hey-ho.

You spelled ■■■ wrong.
