Top tip for tesco

next time you build a massive multi million pound distribution centre try installing more than 2 ambient double decker bays.
then, next time i visit you might be able to tip me in under 6 hours :smiling_imp:

Watch those double deckers at Tesco :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:
When I worked there I did a change over at Middleton depot which was run by one of the scabby contractors and not real Tesco transport. I hooked up to double decker to return to MK and even as I pulled off the dock and slowly turned left to head for the gate it rocked like I had never experienced in all my driving days. I rufused to move another inch untill the seal was broken and I could look inside. Eventually after a few chioce words by their manager and me calling my supervisor in Kiln farm the doors were opened to reveal pallets of crisps filling the lower deck and heavy cases of beer on the top deck :exclamation: :exclamation:
How far do you think I could have gone before that fell on it’s side possibly killing someone

Bloody ell, that dont beer thinking about

Lol you’ve got a real gripe with tesco lorries.

Followed one yesterday, he almost reached 35mph at one point but soon dropped back to 31… Driving on clear, good road and car drivers were taking chances to get past him.

The real Tesco drivers (not the contractors) earn better money than most could dream of. I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life quitting when I did, I was told at the time I was the first ever driver to resign without taking redundancy. The job was too boring even though it was fantastic pay, I moved on to drive all over Europe doing car shows, exhibitions and motor sports work which did pay about 25% more than Tesco but 4 times the work and hours.

that’ll have been Glass Glovers then

Glass Glovers, Stakehill, Middleton, taken over by Wincanton, contract lost to Stobart.

Every little helps :exclamation:

As a matter of interest and being totally money orientated and mecenary  what do Tesco drivers earn?

I have also seen that Tesc o have introduced a written test as well as a driven assessment for drivers now even agency workers.

Clearly dont include speed limits and making progress within the tesco driving test.

The majority of Tesco drivers are very inexperienced on the A9 up to Tesco city. Frustration kills.
