dunno you’ll have to ask ROG

Thoguht the Magnum cab was coming off when he went throught that wall.

QUALITY!! FUNNY AS FREEKIN ■■■■ AND MADE US LOOK GOOD I THINK!
people that did’t think so go and write to mary whitehouse and the bbc governors!!

Think the prozzie comments were reference to the Yorkshire ripper. He was a lorry driver wasn’t he?
Top show…did anyone catch the Stig description? Some say he has had full on ■■■ with Russell Brands answer machine! LOL

I liked the bit where he said, ‘you driver for a bit, then murder a prostitute, then driver for a bit’ very good that was :exclamation:
Talks out of his arse as usual, and surrounds himself with arse lickers so he looses himself in his overated importance, or is that impotence

It’s all a bit of fun, taken tooooo seriously by miles by many.

At least they didn’t pretend it was easy.

I’ll just scuttle back to my 94D now.

Just one of quite a few killers who were also drivers, both in the UK and other countries, such as USA, Germany and Australia. It’s a pretty ideal job for a serial killer as you can get about a bit and have a bigger killing field. :stuck_out_tongue:

Do a Google for ‘truck driving serial killers’ and you will get a fair few links.

Goaty:
Laughed my ■■■’s off. I thought fork lift drivers topped prossies nowadays

It is getting old hat though, everyone is on the bandwagon, even the bloke who pushes Tesco trolleys round Ipswich admitted to it first :stuck_out_tongue:

And why should the BBC not smash 3 trucks up for entertainment, you complain of the caravans being destroyed, you complain of the lesser spotted grass warbler being made exinct and you complain about a mountain being destroyed when he drives a landrover over some moss.

Or is it because you think you are paying for the trucks through a tiny fraction of the licence fee?

miketdt:
Enjoyed the programme, but would have been better if instead of wasting all that money smashing up trucks it would have been more entertaining if they all signed up for LGV training passing theory HP test and LGV driving test.
What are your thoughts on that?

Oh aye…would have been riveting that zzzzzzzzz…can’t see why anyone could see that show anything other than pure 100 percent entertainment. Excellent stuff. Me and my 7 year old daughter were sore laughing.

i have not laughed that much for a long time.

especially when i think it was clarkson scraped the side of the scania coming out from hitching up… how many times have you nearly done that?

at least they admitted it was a hard job, in a roundabout way!!!

Yep I agree most of the general public would be bored to tears watching Clarkson and co learnig to drive trucks, although I think he already has an HGV licence.
Top Gear isn’t really a motoring program, but of an entertainment show based round cars. As for the cost of the trucks, well that’s more than covered in how much the show makes in repeat fees, syndicating and DVD sales. It’s actually a World wide success for the BBC although I’m sure there are many within the organisation would like to get rid of the show, far to laddish.

absolutely great show still laughing about it to-day its got to be a big up for captin slow
