Tools stolen from snap on van

This is doing the rounds of other forums and uhm lets just say its a good read…lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=429641

scroll down to post 14. it is by the scrote that did the theft.
which apparently left him wide open to abuse by all and sundry cos all of his details got made public on later pages

Got a feeling this bloke’s going to be making his national debut in the tabloid newspapers soon enough.

Anyone want a punt in the best-rated Daily Mail comment, I’II go for ‘hanging isn’t good enough’ and probably for once they’re right.

Never really thought about it but guess Snap-On vans are easy targets safest place would probably be outside your house except they usually look 3.5t+ so you wouldn’t get the o-licence for that and the nimby neighbours would moan.

this was on the cossie forum the other day, still havent finished reading it :unamused:

funniest thing I’ve read in a long time

now, where did I put that old unused sim card for my old phone … :smiling_imp:

Quality…what a nobber!

They cut the door open with a giant can opener and took everything, about 50 grands worth,

Wow, they got away with a 10mm spanner and an allen key set

Poor kids, they will only grow up to be like him. Circle of life.

Brilliant! Should name and shame more of them

what a tool

Sort of off or maybe on topic. Aren’t snap on vans classed as mobile shops thus making them tacho exempt? Maybe opp licence exempt also?

99% sure the guy that calls on us has got an orange disc in the windscreen but will have a closer look next time he calls - we actually get two calling sometimes both claiming we’re on their patch, I think it’s a bit like Ice cream van wars or something, with very pricey ice creams obviously. I would guess they maybe struggle a bit if everyone’s like me and buys the cheaper stuff where it’s, not as good as snap-on/bluepoint, but good enough.

more of a “poundland” man than a “snap on” man myself

snap on are bumping bastarts, 50k worth of tools? Yeah that was probably about 10 tools the price they charge!
