Hiya all, just wondering if anyone had or are driving for tooles in droitwich, just wandering what they are like to work for? Thanks people!

Did a couple of weeks for them on agency a while ago. Ok to work for I suppose, mostly old-ish fleet tho.
I was after class 2 but ended up in a battered 7.5t, mostly local stuff.

Don’t think they do much distance work but I did see a 7.5t sleeper cab at Gretna services yesterday.

I used to live in droitwich, Tooles have a good reputation around the area and do a lot of work, been going a long time, I have a friend who has been there quite a while and he is happy and no intention of looking else were.

Like everything, its what you make it, treat them well and they will look after oyu.

Agreed, I got the impression in the short time I was there that if you got on with it they they pretty much leave you alone.

Thanks madguy, agree with you mate- best to get on with it and treat them well. Might go and give it a go, nothing to lose ha. I live 17 mile away so im hoping they dont break there promise of nights out

I think a lot of there work is pallet network kinda stuff. But they must do a bit of groupage as I see them quite often all over the country. A good company as far as i know.

Alright jimz yeah ive seen them all over, when i was interviewed i asked for as many nights out as possible to cut down on the 34 mile round trip ill be making. Id love to tramp but only got class 2 and there aint many class 2 tramping out there is tha. Think tooles have over 40 trucks on the rd so must be well known.
