I’ve been told that you can use the Tom Tom One Sat Nav in lorries with 24v without using a dropper. Is this correct?

normally you can yes but look at the plug and it will tell you your input i.e.12-24v but if you are in any doubt just use a 12v feed.
Yes, the power lead supplied works on both 12 and 24 volts. I don’t know which power lead you have but the specifications of the ones they do are

I accidentally plugged mine into the 24v and it was there for a couple of hours before I realised but it was fine.
I used it today in a MAN TGM 57 plate, everything was ok…
Looked on the ciggie lighter cable that came with it, it does say 12v/24v
