what tomtom do you have, you need one with sd card slot and you will need a 4 gig sd card for starters

i got my s7000 last week and it seems good. not tested it yet though
You can download them from www.navitotal.com
You can do this yourself via the TomTom website. You are only allowed to download the map of your device so you know it will work. Note that some cards are 100 MB and may take several hours to download depending on your connection speed.

Correct for POI’s, but not for the truck maps…

Bang on mate.
You can get them to work on Tomtom ones upto x40’s, there’s someone runnin’ them on an x50, but I’ve not tried.
Most XL’s don’t have a card slot and have limited memory, so best with an x20 or x30 for ease of installation.
