Anyone got one of the TomTom pro 5150 truck sat nav, if so i just want to know if they’ve got an sd card slot or is it just another internal memory that’ll get filled up. Been looking at a few sights halfords, amazon & tomtom etc & some say it has a sd slot & some say it doesn’t, tomtom claimed my last one had a sd slot but didn’t and theres none in any local shops to have a nose at 1st before buying online cheaper.

Mainly was concerned as my last device got filled up as it barley had any storage space on from new especially after a few updates on it and i wouldn’t want to keep deleting things, last time i did that i cocked it up and it took an hours call to ireland to sort it.

Its fine now, plenty of storage space for maps (about 2gb is the current map size)
You are no longer able to drag and drop onto the device, so the space is fully managed by tomtom. ie. if the update wont work on one device, it wont work on any.
