I recently bought the Eastern European map from Tomtom and put it on a memory card. When I put the card into the sat nav, it seems to over-ride the internal memory,so cannot plan a route from this country to anywhere on the new map.

If I transfer the Western Europe map from the internal memory to the memory card,would this enable me to plan a route?

As far as I’m aware you can’t plan a route over two maps, you can only use one map at a time.

My Tomtom uses a hard drive so others will be able give you better info on this but if the UK map is on the Tomtom I imagine you would need to take the card out to use that map, then put the card in to use the map of Eastern Europe, or have the maps on two seperate cards.
