just downloaded tomtom home,however my tom tom isnt working when i turn it on.tomtom home starts up but it isnt recognising my tom tom,i followed the instructions if its not recognising it says down load tomtom home update which its done,it then says close home down which ive done,it then says goto tomtom home.zip and extract all and then copy it to my tom tom,however i dont know where this home.zip file is,any help would be appreciated however im a simpleton with computers
What version of TOmtom do you have?,.

I had the same problem there are 2 versions of the software you need to download the old one install all your updates and then let it update to the newer version.
