hello peeps.i got my tomtom truck delivered yesterday morning and tried to set it up,but when i plan a route with a low bridge and some weight limits in i just get a normal route for a car journey wtf…am i doing something wrong…ie

hello, its an ebay job tomtom 530 (TOMTOM | GO 530 | TRUCK WORK HGV | SAT NAV)
The fact that the navcore is for trucks doesn’t mean the map is, you need to check that you’ve got the right map for trucks.
For a Tomtom to support truck details it has to have an appropriate navcore and the correct map, if either one is not appropriate for trucks it won’t work for trucks.
You may have to install the truck map 
there is a guy on fleabay selling these. and they dont work. for example he was offering a tom tom 700 with truck maps,
you cannot get the 7000 truck data on a 700. i have reported him lots of times to fleabay. but nothing has been done.
if you want a tom tom 7000 then get the unit, or buy a tom tom that uses a an sd card and buy the genuine truck data on sd card. about £150.
