Hi all got a tomtom 530 go with the truck sd card in it. hasnt been updated since i have had it, just wondering how on earth do you go about updating it? as i dont have a clue lol 
Install Tomtom Home on your computer from www.tomtom.com.
Synchronise your unit with the computer using a USB lead.
It will auto update or it will ask for you to pay the subscription and then update.

If it is an un-official truck card and it asks you to update the application software then the card will stop working unless you know how to install the patched ttsystem file for the newer application software. If you dont know how to do that then dont update, if you have an official truck card then it will be fine to update.
