in the seventies i rememer a progam where they had a spacecabed daf running to the middle east with a new type g/box a fan type twin belt box was it a 1 off any body remember

Don’t remember program, but gearbox sounds probable, as DAF cars back then were belt driven.

i might be wrong for the70s ithink it was a2800 saw1tonight north of carlisle it looked as if it had recently been refurbished
The 2800 was released around the middle of 1974, so it’s possible that experimental cabs were being produced in the late seventies.
