there was a Topic as anyone bought a used Unit with a Toll collect Box fitted.
Well that Box is useless and belongs to Toll collect.
In such case you need to go to Toll Collect Website and register 1.) Company and 2.) Lorry.
Then you need to go in a Workshop to get a Toll collect Box.
You dont buy them :exclamation: You just hire them :bulb:
You find Address of Workshop at Toll Collect Website/Service Partners :bulb:
Build a Box in is up to 4 Hour Work,depence of Workshop.As already Cables for Box are installed will Work be cheaper.
You dont pay for the Box.Only for the Installation.

After long study, I believe that “immigrant” is trying to say that if you buy a tractor unit with a Toll Collect On Board Unit (OBU) already fitted, then you will need to have it replaced with a new OBU at a main dealer in or near Germany and that you will expect to pay around four hours of labour charges.

Quite how helpful this information will be to those of us in the UK haulage industry is uncertain, although the phrase “not at all” springs to mind.
