how many of you mind paying to use the loos i.e belgium germany etc.
I don’t mind paying because it usually means that they are clean but if they are not clean I don’t throw anything into the saucer.
i didnt mind paying in germany because i found them to generally be spotless, belgium (in my opinion) is a different matter tho 
I have no problem with paying, its only 50 cents (30p) max ! Should be introduced over here. Belgium’s not so bad but Greece is appalling - they’re bloody uncivilised ! How they got accepted into the EU is anyone’s guess ! Wouldn’t pay to go on holiday there again either.

well guys my attitude is this…when all the foreigners come over here they dont pay…right?? so i do the same over there…and we are taxed more over here and our contribution to the e.u. runs into millions every year…so indirectly we are paying anyway…nuff said…but i remember running with a bunch of red necks to m.east and we stopped in czech…prague services and they had this old gypsy woman outside the toilets where you had pay…so one of the drivers refused to pay and the woman refused to let him go…so he dropped his trousers in front of her and of course she stopped him and allowed him to go for free…the only time i pay is for a shower mainly cos you dont get one without paying first for the key and normally they are clean but i dont see why one should pay for the toilet when one is spending good money in the services for fuel…food…etc…i rest my case

Strange I spend most of my time in Greece and i find nearly all of the toilet facilities to be very good even to the extent of the porta loos they have in Patras docks, a team of women clean them on a regular basis, on the other hand if you are brave enough to venture into the ones in Ancona, or for that matter most of the toilets in the south of france which are in most cases a hole in the ground or squat bog, Belgium and Swiss you usually have to fend of the advances of gentlemen visitors to said lavs, could go on but might be type cast as a ‘toilet trader’

I have no problem in paying to use the toilets, especially in Germany. As said before they are usually spotless and the loo roll hasn’t run out!
