According to you, the facilities in German Autohofs are not in your opinion superior to British truckstops, even though you admit you don’t frequent German Autohofs.

The video in the opening post was taken at a truck stop in Belgium, this is a truck drivers forum, i at no point mentioned German Autohofs or Germany until you stuck your RMP neb in and mentioned Germany and that facilities are not superior in Europe in your opinion.

So if you want to discus facilities in whatever establishments in Germany that you frequent then start your own thread.

Well it’s been a decade since my last foray into western Europe but that looks like either Belgium or Bulgaria to me. Easy to mix up those two, it was.

I have never been in Veurne for fuel or parking but have certainly never seen the French aires looking like that, most are stainless steel, the local department arrive each morning, they sweep them out, replenish soaps and toilet roll and pressure wash them, most of the parking areas have disabled access, hot water, hot air dryers and picnic areas with clean bins. Most German toilets are attended by staff, Holland is reasonably well catered for. Belgium I am afraid have some catching up to do, or move the layby lovers on!

Our pot’ole in’t middle of road didn’t have room for furniture.
We had furniture - but we couldn’t use it as it was painted onto the walls - our one and only Christmas present was Dad cleaning the one window so we could see out.

The toilet in the video is not the truckstop toilet, it’s the fuel station toilet. The toilets in the actual truckstop are clean and well maintained!
That’s dedication to duty if you checked that out in person.
