hang ur head in shame
I purposely did a taxi driver manoeuvre the other night in front of a taxi driver.
I just pulled over and stopped
He pulled up along side opened the window gave me that Indian look went to open his gob and before he could utter a sound I blurted out …
NOW YOU KNOW WHAT’S IT LIKE
he just looked and fkd off … my priceless moment of the day that was

If this really happened you’re hero of the week.

Happens all the time to me. Happened yesterday, made a right dogs dinner of every bay. What’s worse is I can just imagine drivers watching and thinking ’ how on earth has that Muppet got a lorry like that’. Could always be worse, three years now since I was last week acquainted with a ditch

I can remember the ditch incident. 3 years ago
, scary the way time flies.

At 52 years old and 30 years HGV class 1 and 33 years with a full license I have driven like a [zb]. I’ve chosen wrong lanes , sorry all the people queuing in Melton, clipped kerbs, took three attempts on easy bays today.
Driven like a plank. Hopefully all will be resumed tomorrow.
On the plus side those text messages you sent me had no spelling mistakes.

Unlike trucks, which most certainly do not fly
Today I was mostly a driving God. Well average probably.
I feel like a ■■■■ every time I try to park in Cambridge services - dunno why, I don’t have any problems with bays laid out like that, it’s just something mental I think. That, or the fact that I get a bigger audience there
I’d like to add my name to this roster, last night wasn’t one of my finest nights. I had to put trailer between 2 trailers, could I do it could I f**k, Didn’t help had an audience watching. In my defence yard unbelievably tight once in you can’t get down side of trailer. Still felt like a plank, everyday is a school day !

Must be the day for it,drove back to work this morning ok parked my unit up then 3 drops in a rigid, 3rd drop done loads of times round the back of the shop past the bay reverse on, used to an artic could I get it straight? Could I heck lol easiest drop of the 3 aswell.

Was definitely a friday moment lol.
I can sympathise with this one.
I occasionally have to take a rigid out & I don’t half struggle getting them on easy bays sometimes. 4 shunts at one store the other night before it was straight, with a bread man watching us
Drop before that was in the artic, near 180 degree screw around a wall onto the bay in one. Weird how it works.

I feel sorry for the guys driving auto box dafs, everyday there bouncing off loading bays , pulling out on people a few seconds after they should have done and surging forward at warp factor 10
You need nerves of steel to drive a daf… or be psychic.
Was allocated an auto xf today for my first ever class1 outing. Cant make any comparisons yet (obviously), but i didn
t think it was too bad. I did however get a “friendly” honk from a car when i thought i had time to enter the roundabout!
I just set the dial to reverse in “tortoise” mode to back onto my bay and didnt have any probs. Can
t wait to drive a real nice unit though!!
bertie - you sure you didn`t mean to type ■■■■■■?
in an auto boxed daf both is appropriate. Psychic ■■■■■■.
