I rather like Crumpets for a change, they now do em in soldiers for dippin in your egg
but a nice bit of toast anytime of the day with a light covering of my mate marmite .
All of the above! Toast and crumpets however have to be with real butter, and they need to cool slightly before putting the butter on (so it doesn’t melt. The contrast between hot and cold is what makes it so special. Plus, the butter needs to be spread very thickly too. What could possibly go wrong?

Lightly done toast with Lurpak or Pate.
Crumpets with cheese on.
Pancakes cold.
