…felt the need to give me a blast of his air horns and a two fingered salute.
Sorry to hold you up for those thirty seconds fella, that Industrial estate is a bit greasy when you’re bobtail, don’t worry though, we’ve just leased a building there.
Next time, come round to the office and tell me in person if you don’t think I’m fast enough…
So then…we don’t know which industrial estate or what time or anything really only the fact that you bottled it going round a corner could have been me cus I’ve been delayed 4 times today in similar circumstances - life’s a ■■■■■…chill out man
I’m surprised anybody thought this thread was worth a reply but thanks anyway…
I agree with the well intentioned advice to chill or forget about it. If any of you guys really knew me you’d know that if I was any more laid back I would be asleep.
I created this thread because I was more curious to what exactly I’m supposed to have done wrong in the eyes of the other driver?
It’s interesting to note also, where in my OP did I say that I was going slowly?
@Dri-diddly-ver, if it was you on Walton Summit yesterday forenoon, perhaps you might like to be a bit more macho with your boss about your workload rather than with the other roadusers around you?
You’ll have a heart attack if you carry on like that fella…
I know these petty things happen every day, it’s nowt and you really SHOULD rise above it etc etc…but it DOES wind you up , I pulled on to Stafford serv N, was going to pull on the forecourt for a paper, saw it was full so I decided to give it a miss, mirrored and indicated left, saw a motor coming up behind me and WAITED, he thought it was necessary to blast his horns continuously until he got passed me , everybody looked round which made ME look a right ■■■■ even though I had done nowt wrong , to make it worse it was a young boy and one of Eddie’s elite ,I could have strangled the little 5H11t
AlexWignall: @robroy, I’ve only been on the road for twenty years but even I can remember the time when you would never be discourteous to another wagon driver.
I think some of the daft replies to my thread illustratrate quite well the standards in modern haulage…

Yeh, have a look at the overtaking space thread and you will see a few more
