i have a tmc device on my new tom tom
and it dosnt seem to get imformation very quickly
sometimes not at all most of the day its just searching for a report

any one know how to get it to be more efficeint

What model do you have? I have a TT920 and it the TMC works fine.
Do you have the antenna in a good position?

Sorry, I don’t know that model. :blush:
Does it say connecting to TMC when you plug the antenna in? Is there a new thingy on the right of the screen that comes when it’s connected and does something happen when you touch it?

Have TMC on my Navman S90i and i wouldnt say it was brilliant,feeds out loads of duff info so i dont really take that much notice of it unless the matrix signs have some sort of info showing…normally pops up with summat like ‘there is a traffic situation on yr route…yr route has changed’ just as yr going down the slip-road to join the back of a 5 mile jam!!!

try unpluging you charger until it finds a signal, as these are known to cause interference with the signal
