I have a Snooper 5000 with a plug in TMC cable which I use on occasion if im going somewhere new or if I know the motorway “workers” who count to potato are closing the entire world off at the drop of a hat, TWICE now in the past two weeks the TMC has failed to acknowledge two major motorway closures, one last week jct 20-22 on the M62 and last night on the M6 jct 18-19.
Now BOTH of these closures were advertised for different days than they actually happened, I always assumed that the TMC was an instant info antenna or am I right in thinking that it is purely taken from Highways agency websites so it would only come through to my sat nav on those specific dates they had PLANNED to dig everything up? If so is there any way I can buy a HD traffic info download that is compatable with a Snooper like the one that Tom Tom use?
