I see it advertised on the job centre for £6.70 an hour.
Is that the going rate down Essex in around east London for those small tippers?
Was thinking bout trying small tippers but give it wide berth if the rates are that bad down ere.

They have to be just trying it on offering that sort of money…
Maybe because it’s a jobcentre advert they are hoping to force some no-hoper into it and off benefits. The fact that they have 9 points and a few other infringements on their licence might not matter!

advert isn’t aimed at British drivers . Suprised it’s not written in Polish
They wonder why no young lads wanna drive.
£3000 for licences plus loss earnings to get on the road.
For £12000 a year basic driving tippers for local company with it seems like bout 25 trucks.
They must be having a bubble.

£6.70 an hour will get you an absolute animal of a driver. This firm must be doing muckshifts for stupid rates if they only pay this.

The company’s looks a average size decent tipper company with about 25 trucks.

So what’s the going rate on the tippers down south Essex London area?
If they only advertise on the job centre website, then they must be only expecting the dregs to sign up. The jobless centre is nothing more than a social club for the terminally lazy anyway.
Quite surprising, TMC run a tidy outfit and have a good reputation in the area. I’d be inclined to think that the rate is a mistype.
Going rate is 120-140 a day East London Essex area.
They load in our yard a lot decent well looked after motors and sensible drivers.
They pay a fair bit more than that I know a few drivers on there

That’s why I was quite surprised as the wagons always looked decent when iv seen them and they looked like decent sized company.
Also would think be mostly east London and thought that was really low rates.
Maybe a typo mate.
