Tipped there the other day, backed onto a bay and once I’d taken the straps off at the back they started tipping me immediately. I said to the lads do I need to go to the goods in office with my keys still even though you’ve started and he said yeah. So I walked round to goods in which was about 10 bays down, handed in keys and notes, went to brew machine and walked back to unit. Got in and sat down and literally as I sat down light went green. Looked at my tacho and I’d been on other work for 11 mins. 11 minutes from hitting the bay to them having taken off 26 pallets. That’s how to do it!
Sadly a rare occurance.
Always amazes me when delivering the reluctance to receive the goods in that they’ve ordered. Obviously not them personally but I mean their company.
and if something had happened whilst you still had the keys you would have been found guilty .
so much for site rules and safety.
pulled into Tesco Avonmouth last night, from entering site going on the bay handing keys in to getting a green light and keys back a full 26 pall load 22 mins

Why? I’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve followed the site rules, it’s them who aren’t by not waiting for the go ahead from goods in that have possession of my keys.
B&M are usually quick although never had 11 minutes quick, but for Tesco that is VERY VERY good going!

lately. Even so 11 mins is very quick!

I know and I’m seriously not making that up. From the back of the trailer hitting the bay and parking brake going on to 26 pallets being taken off was 11 minutes on other work! Good effort to the warehouse lads.
Quite possibly did walk past you then, my booking time was 11:30, was at security at 11:20
The Vault at Speke have it sorted. Won’t let you in early or late, but do your bit and turn up on time and your straight on a bay and tipped pronto. Can’t argue. I’ve never been in there more than an hour.

Yea I know, Coca Cola loads to there are a PITA cos the booking time on the paperwork is always an hour earlier than B&M have it down for. So everytime you go you know your going to give the plastic cop on the gate the satisfaction of turning you away, with a useful postcode for a layby 3 miles away 
Can’t use my brain and go an hour ‘late’ on purpose to avoid this because i’ll get phone calls from flapping traffic operators then.
