My old workmate Tom Williams drove this one from new.


Some of Sharples tippers,both artics and rigids were fitted with coil wells. Steel one way,sand back to the steel works.

Well Dennis they were the only firm around that area that I ever saw running them. They had a trailing back axle as you will have noticed, No sure of the make though, But the drivers seemed to like them, Perhaps because they would be light on the steering no doubt, Regards Larry.
